Hello there. The restaurant is a great little hole in the wall that most people walk by. You will be glad you stopped. The food is outstanding, service is good and it is reasonably priced. We went numerous times during our 10 day stay in PV, and were pleased every time. Excellent!!!!!!
I have walked by this place many times but this morning I decided to stop in and try out their breakfast. The decor inside is old traditional mission style very nicely done, in accordance with the name of the place. There are also many traditional style very interesting paintings on the walls. However, the background music is a Mexican electronic hip-hop with a drum backbeat that besides being very annoying is not in keeping with the style of the restaurant or hotel. The inside is large and clean with a sunlit central area with a nice fountain and waterfall that adds a nice ambience. I did not stay in the hotel so I can't speak to that aspect. The waiter did not speak much English but was friendly and very attentive. I got the breakfast special for 69 pesos plus an orange juice and toast instead of tortillas. The plate was nicely presented but the eggs were unspectacular, certainly ok for the price. The American coffee was good and came in a large mug. They also had Wi-Fi which allowed me to catch up on some reading and also to write this review. Overall, this is just the place I was looking for. A local Mexican experience away from the tourist trappings and prices. Post note: the waiter also informed me that bringing our little dog here for dinner would not be a problem since it is not very crowded (I am writing this in the beginning of May so it's a little offseason).
Great staff. Fantastic value We stayed for 5 weeks in a room with kitchenette. Martha the owner could not do enough for us. Brought in a micro and coffee maker...breakfasts downstairs were amazing and reasonable. The location is ideal....1/2 block to playa cameron, 5 blocks to Malecon.....so much to offer
Great little affordable breakfast. 69 pesos for full on includes coffee. Wish I knew other days.was my last morning in PV. It is great service too! I forgot my wallet in the safe and the really nice server understood and I came back to pay. Service was really prompt. I deleted the photo of the meal. Excellent scrambled eggs and hash brown that came with more than enough tortillas. Live to go back!
I've had breakfast here a few times this week. It's cash only so bring cash. The prices are great, the service is extraordinary and the food is delicious
Very hospitable. Let my wife use their restroom after Buenavista said no
I discovered the hotel restaurant when walking by the hotel. It is only a few blocks from the Malecon and well worth the effort. The breakfast was tasty, the service friendly and the lobby had old school charm. The value was amazing and I am glad i dropped in.
